This year at the Keowee Marina Boat Show, Metal Lake Maps and Lake Life Realty teamed up and sponsored a booth at the show for the Oconee Humane Society. We weren’t sure what to expect, as they have never held an adoption at a boat show.
The Humane Society showed up with pups and dogs that needed their forever home. They also had an amazing team of volunteers that walked and showed off the adorable pups. The Humane Society director said an adoption event is considered successful if they can find one dog a home.
Well guess what? Two dogs got adopted that day, and another one the following Monday at the shelter!
